About Our Team
Meet the TEAM

Five years ago, two therapists, Christa Cook and Leeann Terry, joined together and purchased a personal care home in Zebulon, Georgia, to provide extended care for elders in the area. We set a goal to create a team that would provide outstanding personal, supportive care to residents and their families in a home away from home.
To this day, we seek to make each resident feel special and involved in his or her care. We treat each one as we would our own family member. The following bios provide a background for each of us so that you can know us better.

Co-Owner

Christa Cook

My career of caring for others started at an early age. I can remember always being concerned about and lending a helping hand to fellow students that had physical difficulties. These early encounters led me to a career path that continued throughout high school and college endeavors. I knew upon entering North Georgia College that I wanted to be a Physical Therapist, and I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy there. I have enjoyed my career as a physical therapist as I have gone from acute care in a hospital setting to outpatient clinics along to home health visits. I have respected each setting with the goal being to care for individuals’ impairments and promote independence. I joyfully approach each day with an attitude of caring as Leeann and I lead a team that strives to go above and beyond for each resident. Our background of rehabilitation shines through and truly sets us apart from other care programs. I am thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents, family members, staff, and community.
Another rewarding part of my life is being a mother of two special individuals who already show the same caring instincts for those around them. My daughter, Rylee, is eighteen and will soon graduate and attend college. My son, Gray, is fifteen and attends Pike County Schools. They are both hard-working students and are involved in community and school activities. I treasure being a mother and raising them to be caring individuals who will one day be leaders in their communities. I hope God will allow this passion of assisting others to continue for many years to come in myself and in my children.

Co-Owner

Leeann Terry

Leeann Terry has been a resident of Pike County for the last 19 years, where she and her husband Brent have raised their two sons – Cooper and Jackon. She is a 2001 graduate of The Medical College of Georgia where she earned her degree in Occupational Therapy. She served Pike County and the surrounding areas as an Occupational Therapist for over 21 years where she earned her pediatric and geriatric specialist degree. In 2019 she decided to utilize her therapy background through her ownership of Pike Manor Personal Care Home. Since that time, she has devoted her knowledge to providing skilled and compassionate care to her residents. Considering the COVID pandemic, Leean and her business partner decided to bridge the gap and provide innovative ways to continue to care for clients despite difficult times. In 2020 Pike Manor at HOME was established to bring the same compassionate care into the homes of individuals needing care services. It has been Leeann’s lifelong desire to serve and love others as Christ loves us. “I have known no greater joy than serving the elderly. It is simply impossible to have a bad day when surrounded by people that you love.”
